About Dr. Vicky Chmura

Dr. Vicky got passionate about sports physical therapy through personal experience. As a former gymnast, she first discovered the value of PT after an injury took her out of training. She realized how much more effective recovery could be when guided by someone who truly understands your sport and what it takes to get back to full performance.

Later, when Dr. Vicky got into CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting, she saw the same frustrating pattern: athletes pushing through pain or getting generic rehab advice that fit the intensity or complexity of their training. That disconnect between traditional PT and real athletic demands became impossible to ignore.

After 2 knee surgeries, Dr. Vicky needed a clear path back to heavy lifting and moving well, not just a checklist of standard exercises. It was during this time Dr. Vicky realized no one was giving the guidance needed to return to CrossFit and lifting. Because of this, Dr. Vicky built her own rehab plan, applied her knowledge, and came back stronger than she was before the injury. That experience reshaped how she practiced physical therapy.

Today, Dr. Vicky helps athletes not just recover, but return to their sport smarter, stronger, and more confident. With over 10 years of experience, she's worked with countless CrossFit athletes, lifters, and active individuals to resolve pain, prevent reinjury, and optimize movement. She uses the same methods on herself that she uses with her clients, and Dr. Vicky has been lifting pain-free ever since.
